This year's Christmas concert will not take place in the magnificent Notre-Dame au Sablon, but we have prepared for you an online Christmas moment with some fantastic music.
Join and invite your family and friends over.
Since its first ever performance in the Baroque church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in 1796, Ryba’s Christmas Mass has been a symbol of Czech Christmas. On the 17th of December, instead of our traditional reunion in Notre-Dame au Sablon in Brussels, Czech Centres will be streaming Ryba's Christmas Mass from this original venue, and the concert under the baton of Libor Pešek will feature the original organ from the 1750s that Jakub Jan Ryba used to perform on, and a number of fabulous soloists.
You will need to cook your own mulled wine - we have you covered with this recipe - but we are more than happy to provide the food for soul.
The Christmas concert in Brussels is traditionally organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Belgium together with Czech Centre Brussels and Delegation of Prague to the EU.
