The exhibition will be held from the 16th of January to the 28th of February. Three Czech contemporary artists work with different forms but have in common transcending colors, relation to abysmal time, and care for dizzying detail. Milan Houser, Libor Antl and Jaroslav Wasserbauer in Belgian premiere at Stream Art Gallery, Brussels.
Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (1993-2000), Laureate of the Pollock-Krasner Foundation (2005), Milan Houser was born in the resin. A great colorist, the spontaneity and precision of his gesture navigate between false unforeseen coincidences and complicit hazards. The puddles of his truly liquid art captivate the eye, provoking more appetite.
Libor Antl especially joins this event with his paintings of organic, even lyrical abstraction. In his work, we find a factor of silent space. There, the tiniest detail is left for meditation. Libor draws from the abyss for of phantasmagorical and peaceful creatures, whose weightlessness prompts wisdom and meditation.
In the purest tradition of Bohemian glass, Jaroslav Wasserbauer presents his translucent, minimal, even brutalist sculptures. Revolutionizing the universe of this medium rarely seen in the West, Jaroslav takes on to infuse it with modernity. The purity of its forms is matched only by the voluptuousness of its pigments and the power of its volumes.
