OPEN CALL / Comics vs. Corona

Stripgids and the Czech Centre Brussels are launching an open-call for comics artists in Belgium to participate in an international project Comics vs. Corona.

On the previous pages, the story revolving around corona was started by the Czech comics artist Vaclav Slajch – and now it’s up to you to complete it. Send us your contributions by 31 Jan and a jury by Stripgids, Czech Centre Brussels and Vaclav Slajch will select the best continuation. The winner will be awarded 450 EUR and his work will be published in Stripgid and the Czech comics magazine Aargh!. The project runs also in other countries: Japan, Greece, Poland, and elsewhere. A joint publication of all the winning authors is under consideration.All the winning works will be also exhibited at Book World in Prague in April 2021.
