GLODEP is open for candidates with an undergraduate degree in areas relevant for the program, such as development studies, economics, geography, and international relations. The program seeks candidates with excellent academic results, strong interest in international development, and pro(ciency in English. The call for applications is open from October/November to January/February (for exact dates see the website).

Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in International Development Studies (GLODEP) is a two-year multidisciplinary program that links the areas of development studies and development economics. The program provides the students with knowledge and skills to analyze development issues and to design and promote development policies at national, regional,and international levels.


Palacky University Olomouc, the coordinating institution of the Consortium, is the second oldest (1573) and one of the leading universities in the Czech Republic. GLODEP program is organized by the Department of Development & Environmental Studies at the Faculty of Science. Consortium Director: Miroslav Syrovátka

University of Clermont Auvergne, founded in 1519, hosts 35000 students enrolled in a wide range of domains. The School of Economics focuses its teaching on development economics issues and it is supported by CERDI (Center for Study and Research on International Development). The GLODEP program is part of the School's curriculum.

The University of Pavia is one of the oldest universities in Europe, founded in 1361. GLODEP program bene9ts from the track in International Economic Integration and Development of the Master program in Economics, Finance and International Integration and from the Master program in Cooperation and Development, taught by the Department of Economics and Management.
