Science Café – Michal Hejcman

The tenth Science Café, an unconventional open discussion on research in the field of the future of science,   welcomes Professor Michal Hejcman, a recognized interdisciplinary scientist and works in the fields of environmental chemistry, agronomy and botany.

The subject of the evening: "When botany and chemistry meet archaeology?"

Research of prof. Hejcman is focused on patterns of human subsistence across time and space. He conducts investigations on deserted human settlements and has participated in various archaeological excavations from Israel to Iceland. Prof. Hejcman leads the research group Human Adaptability Studies at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.

The debate will be in English and followed by a glass of wine.
