Science Café with prof. Danuše Nerudová

Already 12th Science café will be held on 28 November 2018 in Pilsen house in Brussels.

The guest, Prof. Danuše Nerudová, is acknowledged economist and the rector of Mendel University in Brno, the Czech Republic. She is a recognized scientist in the field of finance and accounting. Her research is focused on sustainability-oriented future EU funding, international taxation and on financial reporting and public finances. In particular, it focuses on the analysis of the Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base introduction in the EU and the concept of fair and sustainable taxation. She gave a speech also in OSN in New York in which she participated on the invitation of Mr. Joseph Stiglitz, the holder of Nobel Prize for economics of 2001. She aims to create the conditions for equal career building for women and men at the university and to draw attention to stereotypes and gender inequalities in the society.

Science Café is a discussion organized for scientists and those interested in the topic of science. This event gives opportunity to all participants of the general public to ask what interests them.
