Science Café with Daniel Nývlt

Daniel Nývlt, who is a senior lecturer at the Department of Geography at Masaryk University in Brno and a principal investigator of the Czech Polar Research Infrastructure and a head of the Polar-Geo-Lab, focuses primarily on a polar area through a Quaternary geology and glacial geology, geomorphology and palaeoclimatology.

The Arctic and the Antarctic hold interest for many researchers due to their ability to stabilize global climate and their role in the global climate balance, and therefore they could be important in climate change. Both regions are significantly affected by global warming, therefore, researchers such as Daniel Nývlt are focusing on Polar Regions research. (MUNI)
