Belgian-Czech homage to Oldřich Kulhánek in Anwerp

Czech Centre in Brussels and Gallery Epreuve d´Artiste cordially invite you to the exhibition of Oldřich Kulhánek, famous Czech artist who died more than 2 years ago at the age of 72. He left the world a rich legacy of art works, and is commonly known as the Czech banknote designer. The exhibition will take place in Gallery Epreuve d´Artiste in Antwerp from 30th April till 15th May 2016. The opening is on Friday 29th April 2016 from 8pm. Opening speech will be given by Rudolf Broulim, Czech printmaker.

During his life, Oldřich Kulhánek often came to Belgium, were he had many exhibitions and a lot of dear friends. He considered Belgium as his second home, loved its way of life, the Flemish masters, Belgian food and beer. He called Belgians “the Bruegel people”.

The students of art school R.h.O.K. Etterbeek together with Oldřichs artists friends from Belgium and Czech Republic, will show their “ Homage to Oldřich Kulhánek”.
