Czech films for children at Filem’on

This year´s season, already 11th in a row, opens another decade of successful film festival celebrating the films made and dedicated mainly for younger audience. This year will feature more than 130 films of various genres within the 10 days - from the 25th October until the 4th November. The screenings will be held on multiple places such as theatres or culture centres in Brussels. Two Czech films will be brought out too –Little Harbour and Voyage dans la prehistorie, both screened at the cinema NOVA on 31st October.

The topic chosen for this year is Time. The term mentioned and discussed from ever since and over the centuries. Come to discover how is this term taken and rendered by loads of artists. The film of a female director Iveta Rófová - Little Harbour and the movie of the phenomenal Czechoslovak director Karel Zeman - Voyage dans la prehistorie will represent Czech national film scene and both screening will be held in the cinema Nova.

The program involves rankings of newly-created movies participated in the competition that will be judged by the international jury of „teen“spectators. Plus, the festival is followed by series of creative workshops for those, who are attracted by the movie world.
