Adam Vačkář at the Dauwens & Beernaert gallery in Brussels

Several works of Czech artist Adam Vačkář are currently displayed at the art gallery Dauwens & Beernaert. The installation is part of the exhibition Lost&Found and remains there until 20th of July 2017.
Lost & Found exhibition
Dauwens & Beernaert present Lost & Found, a group show commemorating the 100th anniversary of Marcel Duchamp’s famous, ‘Fountain’: a quintessential example of what Duchamp called a ‘readymade’; an ordinary manufactured object designated by the artist, as a work of art. The exhibition investigates how contemporary artists direct their distinct poetic and imaginative sensibility in engaging and observing, found objects. Several works from young, emerging artists from Belgium, France, Czech Republic and Switzerland are on display, including Czech artist Adam Vačkář. He is represented by the same gallery for quite some years now and has been a part of their booth at the biggest art fair in Brussels “Art Brussels” this year.
