Czech Fashion and Design Weekend – 5th edition!

Czech Centre in Brussels in cooperation with Representation of the South Moravian Region in Brussels and Representation of the Pilsen Region in Brussels invites you to the fifth annual festival ‘Czech Fashion and Design Weekend’, which will be held from 25th to 27th November 2016 in Pilsen House in Brussels. Visitors will be able to see and buy the best of the contemporary Czech design, be it fashion, shoes, jewellery or various gifts. Come and enjoy pleasant afternoon while discovering original Czech design.


Designer Veronika Procházková emphasizes the feminine silhouette, simplicity and lightness. The trademark of her work is lace which represents tenderness as well as passion. Each model has its own unique story which reflects a certain period of Veronika’s life. www.verchia.com/


BeWooden concept was born in the hills of Beskydy mountains. The founder of this brand learned that the men's bow tie had fallen into oblivion, and decided to change it. Along with other enthusiasts with whom he governed the love for wood, he created a wide collection of men's and women's wooden bow ties, wallets, belts and mirrors, which have become popular in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. www.bewooden.cz    


The designer Lenka Křiklavová stands out for her originality, which she maintains for each of her products. “Trika z Kyjova” is a folk concept, which was founded by several enthusiasts who have decided to recall traditions and their place in people's lives through fashion. Their work draws inspiration from the traditions and folklore, which became their lifestyle.
