100 years from Now exhibition in Louvain-la-Neuve

After a spring in Liège, 100 years from now is settling his posters/illustrations to PointCulture Louvain-la-Neuve this autumn.

2119: will the robot be a friend or a threat? Can they be friends between each other? 2119:, will the robots have stolen our jobs? Will they have a job?

For Daniel Špaček, astronauts were and are the heroes and therefore his source of inspiration. They allow us to see our world from another, a wider perspective. With his illustrations, he attempts to do the same on a smaller scale and that’s why he has so much fun while drawing. Exhibition “100 years from now” shows Earth and its colonies in the future – in 2119. There are no limits for imagination and for Daniel Špaček, the only limit is the end of paper.

On this occasion, PointCulture Louvain-La-Neuve presents a Czech videogame Machinarium during one of their “Mercredi demo” on the 11th of September from 13:00 to 16:30. This enigmatic/puzzle game, created by the independent Czech studio Amanita, tells the tale of a robot expelled from a megacity. The goal is to find its way to return to this city in order to prevent an attack. The small robot is also searching for his kidnapped girlfriend while facing the evil plans of bandits.
